We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview:
As an Estate Planning Paralegal, you will play a critical role in our firm, working closely with attorneys and clients to design, finalize, and execute estate plans. Your expertise in estate planning documents, your organizational skills, and your ability to build strong client relationships will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estate Planning Design: Assist attorneys in drafting and designing comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
  • Document Finalization: Review and finalize estate planning documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client intentions.
  • Client Meetings: Coordinate and participate in signing meetings with clients, explaining documents, and ensuring that all required signatures are obtained.
  • Notary Services: Serve as the firm’s notary public, providing notarization for legal documents as needed.
  • Travel: Regularly travel to our satellite offices in Sonora and Oakdale, CA, to meet with clients and support estate planning processes.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, answering questions, and ensuring a seamless estate planning experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on estate planning.
  • Certification from an accredited paralegal program.
  • Notary public commission in the state of California (or willingness to obtain it).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to Sonora and Oakdale, CA, as required.
